NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION AND HAPPY HOUR EVENT
Whether you’ve been a member for five years or five weeks, there may be a lot about Teutonia Männerchor that you don’t know. If you would like to have the opportunity to learn about club history, special interest groups (and how to join them), customs and regular yearly events (what is Schlachtfest anyway?), plan to come to the club on Friday, January 26 from 5-7 p.m.
This informal event will give you the opportunity to meet, ask ques-tions, and talk with Teutonia groups such as the singers, Alpen Schuplattlers. Kinderchor, Pool League, Schutzenkameraden, Stein Society, Genealogy group, and Folk dancers.
We will also have information about German language lessons and how to become more involved in general club activities. This infor-mal event will help you and your guests enjoy the club more.
It is also scheduled right before our Jazzer Berliner event which offers food and music from 7-11 p.m. The Jazzer Berliner featuring the Kenny Blake trio follows at 7 Pm . Guests welcome, no reserva-tions are necessary. If you have questions, please contact Becky Brandt (becky@nichollbrandt.com) a newer member and volunteer, who will be coordinating this event.
