WELCOME TO THE TEUTONIA MÄNNERCHOR
Welcome to the Teutonia Männerchor
The Teutonia Männerchor is a private membership club with the purpose of furthering choral singing, German cultural traditions and good fellowship, Gemütlichkeit. The club features a number of heritage activities including choral singing in German for both adults and children (Männerchor, Damenchor und Kinderchor), the Alpen Schuhplattlers dance troupe, and the Lerne Deutsch German language lessons. Traditional German celebrations like Fasching, Oktoberfest, Weihnachtsmarkt, and Ostermarkt are held each year and are often open to the public. The Teutonia is also home to other clubs including the Stein Society of Pittsburgh, the Schützen Verein, and the Teutonia Genealogy Club.
Located in the Deutschtown neighborhood of Pittsburgh, the Teutonia Männerchor, which was founded in 1854 and at the current site since 1888, boasts over 3000 members and we are continually growing.
